A Certificate IV in Massage Therapy is your first stepping stone into the massage industry. From theory and anatomy to practical hands on massage
practice, students will obtain the correct technique and ethical skills enabling them to provide massage within their own clinic, aged care facility or any
other health service centre.

If your goal and passion is to become a Remedial Massage Therapist you will be required to complete a HLT52015 Diploma of Remedial Massage. Please
note 8 of the 16 subjects required for a Diploma of Remedial Massage will already be obtained upon completion of your Certificate IV in Massage Therapy.

Expand your knowledge, skills and enhance your employment opportunities with a Diploma of Remedial Massage. Graduates improve their skills in remedial massage practice along with techniques such as joint mobilisation, musculoskeletal assessment and myofascial release.

As a Remedial Massage Therapist you will able to work with clients such as athletes, rehabilitation patients and the elderly alongside other health care professionals.
The duration for this course will be reduced for Graduates who have completed SSI’S HLT42015 - Certificate IV in Massage Therapy as they have already completed 8 of the 16 subjects required for HLT52015 Diploma of Remedial Massage.
