Certificate III in Fitness
A Certificate III in Fitness qualifies you to work as a Gym Floor Instructor and as a group instructor. Allowing you to help new members learn how to use equipment and taking small groups through basic programming. The course is recognized with the Australian Government and certificates will be issued out from both SSI and Australian Government.
If your ultimate career goal is to become a Personal Trainer you’ll need to complete both Certificate III in Fitness – SIS30313 and Certificate IV in Fitness – SIS40210 as a minimum qualification.

Certificate IV in Fitness
A Certificate VI in Fitness – SIS40210 qualifies you to work as a Personal trainer. Personal Trainers can train clients 1 on 1, conduct screenings of new clients and assess their fitness using a variety of methods to develop training programs to suit their needs.
They also teach correct exercise techniques which will be learnt in this course. From training the specific populations like the elderly to your more general weight loss clients we will give you al the tools you need to achieve results in safe manner.
This qualification is ideal for those who wish to develop their knowledge and skills in the delivery and instruction of exercise programs in fitness centres, Gyms, Health clubs outdoor environments or individual clients and small groups

SSI’s Specialised exercise trainers work in a variety of settings and are responsible for the development, prescription, implementation and supervision of individual clients or small groups with special needs.
As an SSI Specialised Exercise Trainer, you will be qualified and have the knowledge to work with clients who need rehabilitation and clients that are elite athletes.
These clients may be referred to you by health professionals, through sporting or athletics clubs, or they may be existing clients who require corrective exercise training in a gym environment.
If you’re passionate about competitive sport, you might use your Diploma to work with elite athletes, gaining advanced qualifications in strength and conditioning, athletic profiling, and long-term programming for performance
